RALLY REPORT 2009 :
Rally held Sunday 30th August 2009

I would like to thank everyone that attended our Rally last Sunday, 30th August, and my sincere gratitude to ALL the people who worked so tirelessly to help make the day what it was " an astounding success". It is always so good to see  many of the Samoyeds that I have personally re-homed looking good and as happy as can be and without the people who take on our lovely Samoyeds I wouldn't be able to do the job I do, so a big thanks to you all.

The day started bright and continued to be kind to us with lots of Samoyeds attending plus many other breeds too, which is always nice to see. I did notice that the fancy dress competition seems to have got bigger this year with some really good costumes, well done to you all. I have had lots of phone calls since Sunday telling me what a great day they had and wanting to know when the next one was!!!!!!!!

We managed to raise nearly £2,900 , which is £500 up on last year. I am amazed at the committment of everyone that comes along to the Rally and gives so generously; I can't say thank you enough, for without your support I couldn't look after all the Samoyeds that need help and care.

I will be doing a longer report on the Rally very soon, but until then many, many thanks to you all.

Apologies to "Bingley" Forsdick who won the non rescue class 2-7yrs last year, as the winner was incorrectly listed in the results.

The Lotto Bonus Ball drawn on 2/9/09 was number 21 and our competition was won by Lee Ross. A big thank you to all who took part, £57 was raised for the rescue by the Lotto Bonus Ball.
